The school administrator shall ensure that
services are provided to students who are suspended more
than 10 days cumulatively during the school year.
In cases where the suspension is not a change
in placement, services will be determined in consultation
with the student's special education teacher (Form
80.05).
In cases where the suspension is considered a change in
placement an IEP team will determine the appropriate services.
In either case the services provided must:
- Be sufficient to enable the student to progress in the
general curriculum and advance toward achieving his/her
IEP goals and objectives.
